Sauna house
The old ferryman’s house has been
converted into a sauna house |
|
The two bridges close to our inn bear witness
to the passage of time in Lappland. Ferry traffic across the River
Kalix ceased in 1937 when the ferry was replaced by a bridge.
Just over 60 years later the former ferryman’s house close
to our inn was converted into a sauna house with two steaming
saunas and a rustic and authentic recreation room for relaxation.
After your conference or activity, a sauna guide will introduce
you to the art and rituals of sauna culture to enable you to derive
the greatest possible benefit from the steam and the specially
prepared food served in the recreation room.
