Come and enjoy a tour where
you can feel like "Jack London", and of course enjoy the
scenery and the dogs. The enthusiastic dogs howl and strain at their
harnesses, ready to be on their way. You settle yourself comfortably
into the sledge and then, with a quick tug, we’re off!
The howling stops and all you can hear is the commands from the dog-driver
and the breathing of the dogs.
During the tour we stop at a suitable spot for coffee and sandwiches
around a warming open fire.
The tour continues to Lappeasuando
Wilderness Park, where a warming wood-heated sauna and chance to relax
await. In the wooden wilderness restaurant a fire burns in the soapstone
stove, candles are lit on the tables and a delicious dinner is waiting
to be served.
Tired travellers are wished a good night’s sleep in the Sami
wooden tents, all of which are provided with a sleeping bag with sheet
lining and a pillow with pillow case. After breakfast on the second
day you set off on the return journey to Lappeasuando Gästgiveri
in a toboggan behind a snowmobile.
