Small groups - Big experiences. Experience the famous midnight sun, the scenic landscapes, impressive fjords and the arctic wildlife outside the spectacular island of Kvaløya.
Our highly qualified local guides provide you a unique and unforgettable adventure with a personal touch.
What to expect
During the trip you will learn about the history, landscape and the wildlife of the incredible island of Kvaløya. You will get the chance to see the characteristic island Håja, which gave its shape to the Arctic Cathedral of Tromsø. Ersfjord, Skamtind and Sommarøya are also often approached during our boat cruises. We also get close encounters with the local wildlife, which can include whales, seals, otters, sea eagles, puffins, and many other arctic bird species. We stop several times during the trip to enjoy the surroundings, take photos and rejoice the fantastic scenery. If you like, you could also be given the opportunity to try some fishing.
This is a fantastic experience also for photography enthusiasts as we get extremely close to the elements. Throughout the trip we will take stunning photos and we are always glad to share them with you afterwards.
Staying safe and warm in the Arctic
Before we start the boat trip we will inform you about the area, its wildlife, provide a safety briefing and ensure you dress properly for the conditions with suitable flotation suit, boots, hat and gloves. Our modern charter boat is equipped with an observation deck that offers you a good view. The heated indoor panoramic saloon is also a comfortable option for those who prefer to stay inside.
